"What are you doing with The Gift? You say you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit and Fire - where is the proof? The Holy Spirit Baptism was given so you would have power to do the works of Jesus.

John 14:12-14:

¹²Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

¹³And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

¹⁴If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Mark 16: 15-20:

¹⁵And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

¹⁶He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

¹⁷And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

¹⁸They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

¹⁹So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

²⁰And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Are you doing The Works? If not, repent. Ask God's forgiveness and then ask for a "re-filling" of the Holy Spirit. Then go and be about your Father's business."

Fellow pentecostals, charismatics - I'm going to speak plainly. We who have received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues - are you satisfied with that? The Gift of the Holy Spirit was given to us, not JUST so we could pray in another language. A huge benefit to be sure. But that is not the purpose of the Infilling.

We want everyone we know to have "what we have". Well, what do we have? Is it clearly evident to those around you that you have something more? "

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was given so YOU could be a powerful witness of our Lord Jesus Christ in demonstration of Spirit AND Power. You're not only empowered to spread the gospel, but to lay hands on the sick, cast out devils and if need be - raise the dead.

THAT'S the calling. That's why you received power -to do the works of Jesus. Are you doing them? If no, why not?

Everyone around you - your family, friends, co-workers, people you come in contact with on a daily basis should KNOW - without you saying a word - that "Something" is different about you. You have a quality, a presence about you that is so strong the sinner wants to repent and the believer wants what you have. It wasn't Peter's shadow that healed the sick and brought men to repentance, it was the power of God that surrounded him.

If you are walking in the Holy Spirit's power as you should, people will seek you out to lay hands on the sick. They'll ask you to speak to a lost loved one. They'll bring demon possessed folks to you asking you to pray and seek deliverance for them.

Take inventory of yourself. Get it right. Then let's be about the Father's business.
